Generally, when the printhead is blocked you have to replace it with a new one. As you have mentioned that your new printhead is clogged, you might clean it before you opt for any replacement. Do the following procedure to clean the installed printhead.
- Tap on the Start icon and then click Run.
- If anything is present in the Open field, remove it, then enter Control and tap on Enter on your keyboard.
- Now from the control panel, select the Printers and other Hardware option. Choose the Printers and Fax option.
- Now you will be directed to the installed printers page. Keep the mouse over the printer icon and right- click on it.
- From the pop- up menu, choose the Properties option and choose the Maintenance option.
- You can also follow the tips provided in this to prevent the further.
- The periodical inspection of the printhead for clogs is required.
- Do not keep the printer unused for a longer period. At least print a few pages in black and color once a week.
- Clean the printer regularly might help you reduce the occurrence of the printhead issue.
